Okay so I was in Canada last weekend for a drive. Driving up the QEW towards Hamilton, I saw an OPP Car on the left hand shoulder with its lights on. By the way, the Red and Blue does look nice on the OPP Cars… But that is only because it is done properly. Blue on the right, red on the left…. Not mixed in together like this Buffalo PD shit.
Anyhow. As I passed the OPP car I noticed that there was nothing else there. Just the cop. However about 200 yards down the highway there was a couple of Canadian Geese and their chicks walking along the shoulder. I then noticed a Wildlife Emergency Response vehicle driving the other direction a few miles down the highway.
This is why Canada is awesome. The cops will protect wildlife. You probably wouldn’t see this in the states.
The Tragically Hip’s new album “We Are The Same” is something I just can’t stop listening to. The whole album is great. While it does have that classic ‘hip’ sound to it, it sounds much more mature and laid back. I recommend anyone who likes canadian music, to get the new album and check it out.
On that note, sadly because of my lack of income at the moment, I had to download it. But you should totally go out and buy it. I will be buying it when I get some money to do so, thats for sure. I own every other Tragically Hip album.
In wolf packs, the Omega wolf is the lowest ranking wolf in the pack. Generally the Omega is the wolf which is picked on, and which other wolves let out their frustrations on. Omega’s exist in other ‘packs’ as well. For example many Human social groups will have an Omega within them. Someone people gossip about and quarrel with.
In a way this is needed in any group, to be able to take out aggression on a single individual. Sometimes this aggression is warrented, other times it may not be. But this is how the social world works.
I will start off with AngelofthyNight.com. AOTN.com has kind of died down lately. Alot of key people have lost interest and taken on other interests at this time. While all the content on AOTN.com is saved and can be restored at a moments notice, I have no plans to bring it back anytime soon.
The angelofthynight.com domain is also open for transfer if someone else wanted to purchase it. I would give them the files and database dumps if they wanted to take it over. I just can’t really justify spending 10 bucks right now to transfer it to my new hosting service.
At the moment, my main priority is the fastlanecrew.com domain. Clan members have donated and thusly I must get that up and running ASAP. The transfer of domains is in progress and will be complete in the next few days. I want to make a note that the roadwolf.ca domain is up so quickly because the only thing involved for me to get it up was to upload files and redirect the DNS settings. With my other domains, since I am cancelling my previous hosting service, I must transfer domain ownership between hosts, and thusly that takes a little more time.
As for the deptofmagic.org domain for my WoW Guild. I can’t afford to transfer it at this time, but I would if someone could handle the costs to transfer it. This will take about 5 days. That being said, I have all the files and database to get it back online ASAP once it does get transfered.
If you were brought here via other domains, they likely were not widely used domains of mine. I also had some domains I had set up for friends, and they will be back up, if the owner so requests that they remain up. Otherwise they will remain down.
Woot Woot! Roadwolf.ca is back online. I want to thank my previous host for several years of flawless service. The reason the website went down was mostly my fault for not reading the fine print and not doing my research. My previous provider offered me a deal on a microsoft hosting package so I took it. But alas that package didnt offer MySQL database compatibility and all my websites use MySQL. I am sure I could of converted to Microsoft’s access database, but I am just so used to the old SQL way of doing things, and too lazy to really want to upgrade.
That being said I am still looking for work. Sadly our plans of buying a house have been put on hold for now. We are both now looking for work, and we have expanded our horizions back into Canada. Canada, I may be coming home sooner then expected!
Seems like such a waste to come down here, go thru 3 years of paperwork to become a legal American citizen, and then I can’t find work and might end up going back to Canada.
I think I relate to this song because I have found myself in this position a few times in my life. Trying to convince female friends that their abusive or love-less relationship with their partner is not worth staying together for. Sure, call me evil. But I believe that you should always enjoy life.
